1. Gill is very caring and very understanding , takes time to explain and demonstrate.
2. Gill is a great teacher and although the course is only four weeks, she is very generous with her time afterwards. She makes videos available and keeps in touch with Zoom session. I would highly recommend her.
3. After having a total hysterectomy with a pelvic mass removed, my GP had told me I had a small prolapse, and it was normal to see in a woman of my age (57) who'd had two children and she wasn't going to do anything about it and I wasn't to worry.
Normal I thought what does she mean by normal ??
Was it normal at my age to be having to dash to the loo when I needed a wee. ? Was it normal to be getting up every night to go to the loo ?
So I started my own research and found that once a prolapse starts it can't be reversed.
I was really upset, I didn't want to get worse!!
I'd always done pelvic floor exercises, but obviously wasn't benefiting from them.
I then came across a hypopressives clip on YouTube and started to research that. It came up with Gill and so I contacted her, booked a block of four sessions, and was absolutely astounded after the results from one session.
I didn't get up in the night to pee, I wasn't feeling like I needed to visit the loo all the time.
The results were amazing, so much so that I insisted my hubby try it as he used to get up in the night too. Same result....no night time loo call !
So glad that I did my research and found Gill great results and mentally knowing that I can prevent the prolapse getting worse if I do the hypopressives 2/3 times a week.
I count myself lucky as my prolapse wasn't too bad but I know there are ladies that are suffering in silence not knowing this will help.
It was certainly the best investment I have made for my health and well-being.
Thank you Gill.
4. I am getting on well - haven’t worn pads for months now
